Colour on textured hair asks more of it. The question is never only whether a shade will suit you — it is whether your hair can take the process and still behave afterwards.

About colour
Textured hair is more porous along its length and more fragile at the points where the curl bends. Colour processes behave differently as a result, and lifting several shades at once is rarely the right way to get there. Where a target shade needs more than your hair can safely take in one sitting, we will plan it in stages.
Every colour service is preceded by a consultation and a patch test. If a treatment plan is needed first to get your hair into a condition where it can hold colour well, we will say so before you book the colour rather than after.
Afterwards, coloured textured hair needs more moisture, not less, and more care about heat. We will set out what maintaining it actually involves so the decision is made with full information.

Why do I need a patch test every time?
Sensitivity can develop at any point, including to a product you have had before without issue. The test protects you, and it must be done at a separate appointment before the colour service.
Can I go several shades lighter in one appointment?
Often not safely on textured hair. Where that is the case we will plan it in stages, which takes longer but leaves you with hair that still behaves.
I have used box colour or henna at home. Does that matter?
Very much. Tell us before booking — previous home colour and henna change how professional colour behaves, and we need to plan around it.
